Important Note: Students majoring in Doctor of Dental Surgery and Supply Chain Management and Logistics Science are not eligible for any grants offered by the university.​

Excellence Grants for High School Examination:​

  • To be eligible for this grant, a new student must hold a Jordanian or Palestinian high school diploma and be a Jordanian or Palestinian national.

  • A new student who meets the requirement mentioned above will be granted a special grant covering only tuition fees as follows:​

  • The grant shall cover an entire academic year, including the Summer Semester provided that the cumulative GPA is at least 3.67 for the 25% grant, 3.89 for the 50% grant and 4.00 for the 100% (full) grant. 

  • Students’ performance shall be evaluated after the end of this period. Afterwards, grants for academic excellence regulation at UOP shall apply.

Academic Excellence Grants:

The University provides students who achieve academic excellence with a grant that applies to the tuition fees of the next semester according to the academic excellence conditions as follows:

  • To be awarded the Academic Excellence Grant for the first time, a student shall have completed (30) credit hours of his/her study plan at the University, and shall have attained a cumulative average of (3.67) on condition that he/she has registered the minimum number of credit hours a student may register for in a regular semester.

  • The Grant shall cover the following semesters, on condition that the student successfully completes (12) credit hours in a regular semester and (6) credit hours in the summer session, provided that these courses are from the required study plan of the student and they enter in the calculation of the cumulative average, in addition to attaining a cumulative average of (3.67).

  • Regardless of what is stipulated in (A) and (B) of this Article, a student, to be awarded the Academic Excellence Grant, shall not have received a disciplinary action of “warning” notice or higher.
