The Department of Artistic, Cultural, and Social Activities aims to provide students with opportunities to practice and develop their hobbies by participating in activities such as music performance, singing, dabke, painting, and theater. It also offers seasonal music courses, supervises them, and refines students' talents by providing appropriate resources and an environment conducive to these activities through well-structured programs.

The department supports all activities and events, raises awareness among youth, and develops the personality of university students through their involvement in local community service and voluntary activities via public service students and student clubs. This approach fosters a sense of responsibility and belonging among students while broadening their experiences in various fields to build and enhance their personalities.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Department

  • Guiding and providing a supportive environment for students with diverse skills, enhancing opportunities for students to discover, develop, and express their talents and interests in cultural, artistic, and social activities.

  • Organizing celebrations, festivals, seminars, cultural lectures, and national youth events.

  • Supporting talented individuals and developing their skills in music, singing, folk dancing (dabke), theater, painting, and more, in addition to forming artistic groups within the university for participation in events and activities.

  • Building well-rounded student personalities, promoting ethical values, and encouraging commitment through workshops and public service training courses.

  • Supervising and following up on voluntary initiatives and activities launched by university students through student clubs.

  • Overseeing the maintenance of audio equipment in the university's theaters and meeting halls.

  • Participating in the preparation of the annual graduation yearbook.

  • Awarding annual artistic scholarships to deserving students.
