of Petra believes that university-life is a time of developing
students' personality, which may be connected with psychological and
social issues. Therefore, to provide the best services for students,
Psycho-Social Counselling Office (PSCO) was established in the Deanship
of Student Affairs under the supervision of distinguished professionals
with long experience. PSCO aims to:
Raise awareness of social and psychological health among students.
Accelerate students' adaption to the university environment.
Provide
proper psychological and social counseling for students to address some
of the problems; such as poor desire to study, depression, mental
support, lack of self-confidence and anxiety of the exam, etc...
Provide psychological and social counseling to students to improve their educational and mental achievement.
Help students develop their personalities, control their emotions, and make their decisions.
