In the field of career guidance:

  • Guide students to choose the appropriate major that aligns with their abilities and career interests.

  • Identify strengths and weaknesses in personal skills that may affect students during their studies and future work.

  • Determine labor market requirements and available job opportunities.

  • Equip students with the necessary skills for the Jordanian and international labor markets.

  • Direct students to jobs that match their skills, abilities, and psychological and social characteristics.

  • Provide individual and group counseling to enhance students' skills and solve problems that affect their efficiency upon graduation (both in-person and remote guidance).

  • Offer group guidance to improve students' job acquisition skills.

Nahnou Platform / Crown Prince Foundation

  • Provide volunteering opportunities for students inside and outside the university.

  • Register students who volunteer through collaboration with the Community Service Course instructor and document all their activities on the Nahnou Platform / Crown Prince Foundation.

In the field of training (in-person and remote training):

Training on employment and work skills, including job search methods, resume writing, interview preparation, work ethics, and more.

  • Training on life skills and entrepreneurship through various courses and workshops.

  • Conduct general awareness workshops linking the student community with private sector institutions and local civil society organizations that offer specialized courses.

  • Training on specialized skills.

In the field of activities and partnerships (networking):

  • Facilitate student internships during their studies in public, private, and non-profit organizations.

  • Organize job fairs.

  • Build relationships with relevant partners.

  • Coordinate with companies to secure internship opportunities for graduates.

  • Create practical training opportunities aimed at employment.

Follow-up with graduates:

  • Update the alumni database.

  • Prepare statistical studies on alumni status in the labor market, employer satisfaction with their performance, and measure alumni satisfaction with university majors and services.

  • Provide data and information about graduates for use in specialized studies.

  • Monitor the employment status of graduates.

  • Publish success stories of graduates in the annual university book and report.

  • Organize and hold annual alumni meetings.

  • Conduct field visits to alumni at their workplaces.

  • Create a Facebook group named "Petra University Alumni Forum."

Office tasks:

  • Establish values of work and behavior and acquire life skills.

  • Secure job opportunities for graduates or temporary work opportunities during their university studies (within the partial employment system in university centers and departments) and maintain continuous contact with institutions and companies for employment purposes.

  • Open communication channels between the university student community, private sector events, and civil society organizations, and sign memorandums of understanding with several institutions supporting the youth sector and developing their projects.

  • Support creative and innovative university student graduation projects.

  • Support and assist students in establishing small businesses.

  • Support entrepreneurial projects competing at the level of Jordanian universities.

  • Participate in youth dialogue forums held in public universities, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, and various institutions concerned with youth.

  • Support youth initiatives aimed at serving the local community.
