The University of Petra (UOP) has provided logistical support for award-winning scientific research prepared by the students of Al-Hassad Al-Tarbawi Schools (HTS) in the laboratories of the Chemistry and Civil Engineering Departments.
HTS students have won the second and third places in the contest for future scientists and Lona Stars in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering in Jordan and have won the fourth place in the International Science and Engineering Fair organized this year in Atlanta, United States of America (USA).
It is noteworthy that UOP has allowed HTS students to conduct scientific tests and measurements in the laboratories of the Chemistry and Civil Engineering Departments. Furthermore, the scientific research intends to process and remove oil residuals using the bentonite material made in Jordan.
