The Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) hosted students from Amman schools to attend four training workshops spanning for 3-day. The Summer Creativity Club organized the workshops in line with UOP strategy to serve the local community, improve the skills of young people and familiarize them with the majors that FAD offers.
The workshops consisted of presentation on FAD’s majors, entertainment shows in all UOP buildings, visit to Lazer Lab and brief on 3D printer. Moreover, phases of building models and converting 2D designs to 3D designs. The workshops contained free hand draw activity and a competition for best summer fruits for students.
Architecture Department Chair Dr. Yaser Abu Hashem, Dr. Hadir Merza, Dr. Tariq Alrimawi and Dr. Amer Aljukhader handed certificates of attendance to the participating students.
The workshop preparation team consisted of Eng. Rawan Khattab, Eng. Namat Aldesi, Eng. Sara Abu Soud, Eng. Batool Alqarara’a, Eng. Shaza Qatqeet and Eng. Yasmeen Alsoudi.
