“Speak” team from the University of Petra (UOP) won the second place in Hakeem Academy Competition. UOP team has competed with ninety team from all Jordanian universities.
Prof. Ghassan Issa, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), commended the considerable efforts exerted by the team members in developing and spreading their ideas. The team consists of: Abdullah Alfares, Ghassan Sabateen, Adnan Haddad and Saifeldin Albashiti. The team was supervised by Dr. Abdulkareem Albanna and received support from innovation center.
The team also won two-month subscription from Luminus ShamalStart. Luminus ShamalStart will convert the idea to a product. Two teams from FIT-UOP participated in Hakeem Academy Competition 2017 and won first and third places.
