An academic staff from the Chemistry Department of Petra University visited the head office of DCP Construction Products and met with Mr. Tawfiq Ghandour, Director of Operations (CEO) and Mr. Mamoun Al-Shanteer (COO).
The two sides discussed ways of research cooperation in the field of development of environmentally friendly building materials based on Jordanian materials, the possibility of hosting undergraduate students for field training course, and participate in the events and scientific days organized by the University of Petra. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to intensify specialized meetings to provide joint research and to obtain research grants from international institutions. It was also agreed to train outstanding students in the Chemistry Department in the company's laboratories and factories.
