UOP President, Prof. Marwan Muwalla, has opened the Annual Exhibition for the Faculty of Architecture & Design (FAD) in the year 2022 after being suspended for two years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The annual exhibition entailed UOP Students and Professors Exhibition, UOP Plastic Arts Exhibition, Students Animation Films Exhibition, Aftercare Cultural Society Works Exhibition and symposium for FAD teaching staff research papers. The exhibition covers the four majors of FAD, such as: Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Animation and Multimedia.
The Exhibition was prepared and organized by Dr. Nuha AlBassiouni, Mr. Othman Haikal, Mr. Firas Rahal, Mr. Hamza Zayed, Mr. Muhammad Khalaf and Mr. Ghassan Al-Tammri. The students' works were gathered and organized by a team of all departments involving former professors, students and graduates.
The exhibition entitled "Rapid Response" is in line with the latest digital developments using QR codes for accessing further works including winning projects, artistic work and webpages for presenting the students' work on social media networks. The exhibition addresses modern digital design capabilities reflecting excellent skills possessed by professors and students in this area.
The exhibition contained several students' artistic works and projects. As required in the courses, regional and international award-winning projects reflected the UOP vision to encourage students' competition and award-winning internationally. Furthermore, the exhibition contained digital artistic works by means of dynamic design designed and developed by Dr. Mohammad Khairy.
A number of projects were presented in 3D using augmented reality techniques. The exhibition contained a corner for the virtual and augmented reality for visiting international websites designed by FAD graduates Eng. Sultan AlFukaha, Eng. Abdallah AlDarini.
