The Faculty of Architecture and Design at University of Petra hosted architect and interior designer Dima Fakhoury for a lecture titled “The Job Market, Its Challenges, and a Showcase of Key Projects."
The lecture aimed to bridge academic learning with the realities of the job market and to familiarize students with the challenges and opportunities that await them after graduation.
Fakhoury shared her professional experience, offering students a comprehensive and realistic perspective on the architecture and interior design sectors. She also provided practical solutions and career advice drawn from years of experience, enriching the session with applicable insights. In addition, she presented highlights of her architectural and design projects, which served as successful examples of adapting to market demands and overcoming obstacles.
Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Dr. Amer Jokhadar, said hosting market experts is part of the faculty's strategy to enrich students' practical knowledge and open dialogue with distinguished professionals in the local market.
