Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at University of Petra (UOP), Prof. Mahmoud El-Salman, and Head of the English Department, Dr. Mohammad Al-Shunnag, presented awards to the winners of competitions held as part of a cultural event organized by the department.
The event featured creative literary performances and an English-language trivia competition.
UOP President Prof. Rami Abdel-Rahem, who patronized the event, praised the students' work, their academic level, and the outstanding organization of the activity, which was held at the Nabataean Auditorium.
The event was also attended by UOP Vice President Prof. Mayyas Al-Remawi and faculty members from the department.
Titled "Ink & Intellect: A Creative Literary Display and a Trivia Competition," the event showcased students' literary projects and included engaging cultural competitions, drawing participation from both students and faculty.
