Two players from the University of Petra football team signed professional contracts with clubs from Bahrain and Palestine. Faris Ghatashah, who joined Al Shabab Bahraini Club, will be playing for the team in the Bahraini Premier League football competition. The Other UOP student, Muhammad Al-Mashah, also a player at Ma'an Club, signed up with Palestinian Jabal Al-Mukaber Club.
"The university wishes its students success in their sports career and provides them with all the support they need to advance their future in sports and academics", Dean of Student Affairs at UOP, Dr. Iyad Al-Mallah, said.
