The University of Petra has signed an academic cooperation and student exchange agreement with the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. The agreement was signed electronically from the University of Petra by Dr. Nidal Al-Salhi, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, authorized by the President of the University, and from the Islamic University of Malaysia Dr. Khair Khairy, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Information.
Dr. Nidal Al-Salhi said, “this agreement represents a step towards enhancing academic cooperation and student exchange and is the beginning of a fruitful cooperation through which we look forward to achieving common academic and research goals."
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Natour, Head of the Accounting Department, stressed that this agreement will open new horizons for research cooperation between the two universities by developing joint research projects in multiple fields for the benefit of the academic community.
The signing of the agreement was attended by Dr. Kenza Mansour, Assistant to the President for Agreements and International Cooperation Affairs.
