Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Hussein Jbour, announced the launch of the Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work in a ceremony organized at the University of Petra (UOP).
Dr. Hussein Jbour said: "I would like to thank UOP for organizing this ceremony to launch the Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work in the hope that UOP will be a leading institution in voluntary work and that the greatest possible number of volunteering students from UOP are going to apply for the Award".
Prof. Mallah said: "We at UOP always seek to increase the voluntary activities and initiatives and, thankfully, UOP obtained the top university award for 2022 from the Nahnu Platform".
The Award representatives attended the ceremony, including Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Hussein Jbour, Assistant of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Majed Asailah, member of the Award management committee in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Husam Othman and member of the Award management committee Ms. Samar Al-Daoud.
Prof. Al-Mallah referred that the Award sheds light into the voluntary works by the young people and youth institutions intending to serve the community and country's progress and thanked Crown Prince His Royal Highness Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II for launching this Award which incentivizes volunteers and creative individuals from a youth category.
