​​The 2026 2nd International Conference on Computational Intelligence Approaches and Applications (ICCIAA) invites researchers, professionals, and students to submit their original and innovative work for presentation at the conference. This major event will be held on May 12-14, 2026, at the University of Petra in Amman, Jordan. It is jointly organized by the University of Petra, Jordan, and Al-Mustaqbal University, Iraq, and is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Jordan Section. ​

Topics of Interest:

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics related to computational intelligence, including but not limited to:

  1. ​Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Systems:
    - Expert systems, cognitive computing, knowledge representation, reasoning, and hybrid AI. 
    - AI applications in healthcare, finance, education, smart cities, and decision-making systems. 

  2. ​Machine Learning and Data-Driven Approaches:
    - Predictive modeling, deep learning, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making. 
    - Applications in personalized recommendations, marketing, anomaly detection, and real-time analytics. ​

  3. Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing:​
    - Image recognition, speech processing, text analysis, and multimodal AI. 
    - Applications in autonomous systems, medical imaging, and human-computer interaction. 

  4. Big Data, Intelligent Systems, and Cloud Technologies:
    - Scalable data analytics, IoT, cloud computing, and intelligent infrastructure. 
    - Smart systems for real-time decision-making, predictive maintenance, and data-driven insights. 

  5. ​Evolutionary and Autonomous Computing​:
    - Evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, autonomous systems, and robotics. 
    - Optimization techniques for adaptive, self-learning, and resilient systems. ​

  6. AI for Cybersecurity and Privacy:​
    - AI-driven security frameworks, threat detection, anomaly analysis, and secure AI deployment. 
    - Privacy-preserving machine learning, secure data processing, and robust AI systems.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Paper Length: Papers must be between 5 and 6 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. Submissions exceeding 6 pages are generally discouraged but may be extended up to 8 pages, subject to an additional page fee for each page beyond the 6-page limit. Papers longer than 8 pages will be automatically rejected without review.  

  • Format: All submissions must follow the IEEE conference paper format, which can be accessed via the official IEEE templates: IEEE Conference Template

  • Papers must be written in English. 

  • Only original unpublished contributions are solicited for presentation. 

  • Plagiarism in any form will lead to the rejection of the paper. 

  • Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/ journals) are not allowed. 

  • Papers not presented at the conference will be marked as "No-Show" and not included in the publication. 

  • Submission Platform: Papers should be submitted through the conference’s online submission system ED​AS​

  • Review Process: All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers.  

  • Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

The ICCIAA 2026 paper submission and review processes will be conducted online using the EDAS Conference and Journal Management System. No other submission methods will be accepted. Please follow these instructions to submit your paper.

Step 1: Register/Login on EDAS

  1. Existing EDAS Account:
    If you have previously used the EDAS system for any conference, you already have an account. Log in using your existing email as your username. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by visiting the EDAS ​Password Reminder page.

  2. New EDAS Account:​​​​
    If you are new to EDAS, please create an account by visiting the New EDAS Account page. Remember to save your username and password, as you will need them for future submissions, editing submissions, updating personal details, and submitting final manuscripts.

​Step 2: Submitting Your Paper

  1. Go to the ICCIAA 2026 paper submission page.​

  2. Follow the instructions on EDAS to submit your full paper. Only submissions made through EDAS will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the conference.​

  • A 50% refund fee applies to all cancellations before the Registration deadline.

  • There is no cancellation (0% refund) after the Registration deadline.​
