The University of Petra (UOP) is currently looking to fill the following vacancies according to the conditions detailed below:
First: Director of Engineering Workshops
Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Enjoy at least five years in managing workshops and work teams and training students.
Good knowledge in operation and maintenance of devices and equipment and developing designs necessary for production.
Setting the specifications for wood, iron and other materials to be supplied, and calculating its quantities and pricing them.
Knowledge in labor market.
Second: Computer Lab Technician
Holder of diploma degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS) or Information Technology (IT) with a Good GPA at least from a recognized university.
Enjoy adequate experience in the maintenance of computer and its accessories.

Third: Networks Technician
Holder of Bachelor or diploma degree in Computer Networks major with a Good GPA at least from a recognized university.
Enjoy adequate experience in the installation and maintenance of computer wire and wireless networks.

Fourth: Driver holding sixth category driving license
Holder of sixth category driving license for driving buses.
Not more than 40 of age.
Resident of Downtown Amman.
Applicants to all above vacancies must meet the following requirements:
A Jordanian national.
Not to be committed to work with a public or private institution.
A copy of the curriculum vitae copy of the general secondary study certificate, certificates of experience and a new personal photo shall be attached with job applications.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for carrying out interviews. After passing the interview, the applicants for the first, second and third jobs shall sit for Arabic language examination, English language examination and computer skills examination developed in terms of ISO principles applicable at UOP and applicants for the fourth job shall sit for practical test.
