The Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at University of Petra organized the first gathering for its graduates. The event took place at the Faculty's Pharmacy Studies Theater and was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Riyad Awad, as well as a group of male and female graduates, faculty members, and some administrative and technical staff at the Faculty.

Representatives from the Career Counseling and Alumni Follow-up Office under the Deanship of Student Affairs at University of Petra were also present at the event.

Dean Awad welcomed the College's graduates, presenting statistics about the College and its graduates. He pointed out that the College's graduates work in various health and medical fields, including pharmacists, experts, and nutrition consultants.

Awad mentioned that a number of the Faculty's graduates have pursued their postgraduate studies at prestigious universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Germany. Some of them have continued their studies to obtain a master's degree at the same College, demonstrating their high confidence in its academic outputs and their ability to quickly join the local, regional, and international job market.

The gathering also highlighted the local, regional, and international accreditations that the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences has received since its establishment in 1991. It emphasized the memoranda signed with companies and organizations to enhance student training and cooperation. Additionally, the achievements and awards of the Faculty's students in various competitions were discussed, along with the events organized by the Faculty in collaboration with the Jordan Pharmacists Association. The future plans of the Faculty, aiming to achieve excellence and remain at the forefront in line with its goals and the university's objectives, were also presented.

At the end of the gathering, the Faculty distributed questionnaires to the graduates to collect their opinions and feedback, with the goal of achieving excellence and innovation in the fields of pharmacy and nutrition and empowering the Faculty's graduates to achieve distinguished accomplishments at both the local and international levels.
