University of Petra Launches A Program to Enhance Graduates' Readiness for the Jordanian Job Market"

The Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Petra, Prof. Iyad Al-Mallah, met with the Director of Business Development and Curriculum Development in Higher Education Institutions, Nermin Bejovich, and the Director of Youth Programs at the Business Development Center, Reem Al-Adwan. Also present at the meeting was Dr. Tariq Al-Malahimah, the Director of the Business Incubator at the University of Petra.

This meeting is part of the preparations for the University of Petra's Business Incubator to implement the project 'Skills Enhancement and Internal Training Program for University Graduates in the Jordanian Job Market.' The project is in partnership with 'Spark' organization and the Business Development Center 'BDSC,' aiming to enhance the employability of university graduates. The meeting aimed to involve the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Petra in implementing the program, which supports new graduates in the job market and provides training courses in integrated learning with work.

Prof. Al-Mallah stressed the importance of work values, leadership skills, and creativity among students in building a generation capable of facing challenges. He emphasized the significant role played by the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Petra as a center of excellence and leadership in various student activities and distinctive student services. He highlighted the importance of forming partnerships that support leadership and innovation and steer students towards life and leadership skills.

Dr. Tariq Al-Malahimah, the Director of the Business Incubator at the University of Petra, highlighted the incubator's efforts in spreading awareness of creativity, entrepreneurship, and a culture of excellence among students. The incubator provides various services to entrepreneurs and startups, including training, library services, accounting services, legal services, and multiple communication channels, through faculty members, staff, and other project owners in the incubator.
