The Faculty of Media at University of Petra organized a dialogue session with its students who are graduates of the faculty in previous years. Prof. Ali Al-Najadat, the Dean of the faculty, stated during the dialogue session in the presence of Prof. Iyad Al-Malah, the Dean of Student Affairs, that the meeting was a translation of the efforts of University of Petra and its Student Affairs Deanship to enhance communication between the university and its graduates with the aim of ensuring their future employment prospects and establishing a distinguished relationship of positive communication between the university and its alumni.
Al-Najadat added that strengthening the university's relationships with its students aims to understand the graduates' opinions regarding the current state of the faculty’s students in the job market and their contribution to enhancing the capabilities of their fellow students who are still studying, through the provision of training courses that prepare them for easy entry into the job market.
Prof. Iyad Al-Malah, the Dean of Student Affairs, mentioned that meeting the university's graduates from various majors aims to keep track of their conditions and maintain communication with them, with the goal of establishing an alumni association for the University of Petra, under the direct sponsorship of the university president and its board of trustees.
Several graduates shared their personal experiences in the job market after graduation and offered advice to their fellow students. They also proposed the establishment of an alumni association for University of Petra.
The meeting was attended by members of the faculty and administration of the Faculty of Media, as well as a group of faculty students.
