UOP President Prof. Marwan Muwalla honored the staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences on the occasion of obtaining ACPE certificate. UOP Chancellor Dr. Adnan Badran attended the honoring ceremony.
Prof. Muwalla said: “On this occasion, I would like to extend sincere congratulations and express high appreciation to FPMS dean Prof. Tawfik Arafat and FPMS teaching staff for their efforts”.
Prof. Muwalla referred to UOP achievements during the last years, such as: Obtaining quality assurance certificate thrice in the last three years, accrediting two majors in the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) by ABET, granting ASIC certificate to English Department and finally granting ACPE certificate to FPMS.
UOP Chancellor Dr. Adnan Badran congratulated UOP President, FPMS Dean and UOP staff on this achievement made by FPMS, noting that international accreditation of UOP faculties confirms UOP curricula match the curricula adopted by global universities.
FPMS Dean Prof. Tawfik Arafat thanked UOP administration for organizing this honoring ceremony, noting that this initiative shows that UOP administration is keen to reward efforts exerted by its teaching and administrative staff.
By the end of the ceremony, Prof. Muwalla distributed certificates of appreciation to the members of FPMS Quality Committees.
