In cooperation with the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities, the International Aqaba Academy for Chess organized a Chess Championship for Arab students studying in Jordanian universities with the participation of seven Jordanian universities.
UOP participated with three students, namely: Abdullah Al-Attiyah, Ali Mazen and Muhammad Khudairi. Championship applied one to one competitions. UOP player Abdallah Al-Attiyah won bronze medal and trophy in this championship.
