The webinar that was held online for seven days, utilizing MS Teams in which the department of Graphic design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University of Petra had an informative week of knowledge and illustration week with enfaces Graphic design for its students.
The webinar chaired by several distinguished scholars from local Universities and practicing members.
Chaired by the Faculty of Architecture & Design Dr. Aida Jakhrasha, Dr. Tariq Rimawi, Dr. Raed Al-Momani, Mr. Moh’d Musa, Mr. Ali Milkawi, Mr. Yousef Hammad and Mr. Read Jarar.
The scientific-analytical approach emphasis on the Science of Graphic design addressing the local, regional, and cultural market requirements.
Allowing graduates to comprehend the needed skills for seamless transition and integration into the market by bridging the gap between academics and the practical workplace.
Shedding light on several technical issues and tackling them, such as design techniques, printing, dealing with suppliers and the corporate and business culture within the Kingdom, applying for jobs after graduation, and other matters that concern graphic design graduates.
The intensive attendance of both the faculty and students supported the organizing committee emphasis of the importance of such educational seminars and/or webinars. Enhancing the cognitive ’cultural and knowledge elevating the importance of addressing such topics related to the job behavior and ongoing development of their technical skills and expertise.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Fatima Al-Nammari, added with the dawn of a challenging and rapidly evolving marketplace, it is imperative that the academic specialists and practitioners of the labor market address in the creation of new horizon for students to help them meet the matrix challenges of the new era.
