University of Petra Honors Departing Academic Staff

University of Petra organized an honorary ceremony in honor of a number of academic staff members who left the university at the end of the academic year 2020/2021, in appreciation of their giving and efforts throughout their period of service at University of Petra.
The University of Petra President, Prof. Marwan Muwalla, presented the honorees with souvenirs, the university's shield of appreciation, and presents, in addition to the certificate of appreciation. The ceremony honored the professors whose services had ended, and some who had moved to other workplaces.
The University President, Prof. Marwan Muwalla, delivered a speech in which he thanked the efforts of the departing academic staff, praising their long service, which had a major role in the distinction of the university such as obtaining local and international accreditations and rankings. He stressed that the relationship will not end, and that the doors of the University of Petra are open to them at any time, and the certificates, shields and symbolic gifts presented to them by the university were presented in honor of their efforts and service to it.
The honored professors are: Dr. Ahmad Al-Khatib, Dr. Ilham Al-Qaisi, Dr. Ali Al-Saed, Ms. Basma Al-Ramahi, Dr. Ghazi Abu Zaitoun, Dr. Maria Abu Risha, Dr. Ahmed Awad, Dr. Maher Sheikh Khalil, Dr. Yaser Abu Hashem, Mr. Ayman Masanat, and Dr. Nawal Bakir.
The honoring ceremony was attended by a number of deans and directors of departments, in addition to a large presence of members of the academic and administrative families of the honored colleagues.
